Civ V not 75% off?

Why isn't Civilization V on sale? It says "Save 75% on all of the Sid Meier Civilization games." Isn't Civ V one of those?

That is a good point too, I did not think of the pre-order; but I would not have expected that to be priced with the others, even if the wording is ambiguous. I would think Civ 3, a game from 2001, would get a large reduction as well.

Why would anyone put a sale on a game that has not even been released yet? Heck, I am still waiting for sales on games that have been released.

It might get one of these 30% or so discounts but no way is it going to be 50-75% off a game only a couple months old. The most recent game in this series of sales I think was Mass Effect 2, and that has already had a price drop to $40 for the non-sale price.

Possible, but not very likely. It all depends on whether the publisher agrees with the sale. Just Cause 2 (released March 23) did go on sale for -50%, but AC2 for example only for 33%. I can't find any games not on sale, but that's not to say it's not possible. Only with the permission of the publisher can Steam give us these sweet deals, so maybe, maybe not.
