I once saw the g-man in the lambada core and i shot him with the assault rifle and he didn't do anything after that. he just stood on the teleporter and did nothing. is this a glitch or is it meant to be like that?:confused:

He doesn't have the animation to react to you shooting him so he's either living and doing what he's programmed to do or dead but without the programmed actions to go with that.

More proof that Gman is merely an alien energy being that's using a human body as a shell. He vanishes, but leaves the shell behind, and it doesn't know what to do to defend itself or buy drinks for its friends.

Now that i dwell on it more, i recall putting a crossbow bolt into him somewhere. or at least a...... what was the gun that shot out that blue laser thing?

The gluon gun? BZZ BZZ BZZ lol... Thing is he's impossible to kill / hurt / disrupt in most cases. At least in hl2 they put death animations on most of the "unkillables", so that's entertaining. But I don't know how you'd really do anything other than keep hitting him (I cornered him once over one of those areas you're not supposed to be able to quickly follow him, he just stood there as I beat him with the crowbar...).

I remember playing on the PS2 and this happening. I believe it also happened on the pc.

Anyway, yes, it is a glitch.

Should i start a thread trying to decide whether G-man is a human or an alien being in a shell? or has it been done already?
