Ammo Problems (SP)

I can't seem to conserve ammo in single player. I always run out. I switch weapons as much as I can, but always end up switching to vehicle weapons due to ammo issues.

Any tips? Or am I missing something?

Try using both forms in a fire fight if/when possible (that's what I do) also the head is only the weak point if you using the any of the sniper Gun's or at close proximity with the shotgun's so don't waste ammo on their head if your not using a sniper gun. Also aim for the red triangle that located on the chest that the weak spot you want to go for.

And there should be ammo boxes placed all over the map you just got to look for them.

EDIT: Oh yeah and it goes with out saying if you not running and gunning, use fine aim as mush as possible.

Shoot better? Use melee? When i played SP i never had problems with ammo b/c pretty much every room i went into had a ammo box.

lol @ this. there are ammo boxes everywhere and there's more than enough mobs to just shoot and melee. I found myself running out on boss fight seldom even.
