How do I install this mod?

Hi. I'm currently trying to install this mod:

On my Steam version of Empire at War Gold. However the readme doesn't cover how to install it on the Steam version.

This is probably a stupid place to ask, but does anyone know how to?

http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1288017 has some information on how to install mods for the Steam versions. Basically just install them as normal, but change the shortcut within steam, rather than one in an explorer window or whatever.

Won't work on the majority of EaW-mods thought, as they require version 1.1 and that is not supported by Steam.
