CAMP 3 pack?

Just to sate my own curiosity:

I know vaguely that the CAMP 3 pack stalled when the team didn't get a response from Valve about hosting it as DLC on steam. Is CAMP 3 ever going to be released, even without steam hosting? And if there's no plan to release it, what maps were on the list?

I am a CAMP tester. As of right now, Valve still hasn't responded. ( I don't think so anyway, have to double check with FD.)

I have the maps and I think the names were already divulged awhile back....but I don't know.


So, I don't know if I can give that out.

Right now the CAMP3 forums and the project itself are pretty dead.

Yeah I think I heard FD's dod_cobra_rc1 was on the list but that's about it. I ask because the CAMP packs are well recognized by many players and I'm sure the maps that were considered could use the recognition and server play. Sort of a pity to see a good project stagnated like this

As in caen_b07? Unlikely, there's been nothing heard from that mapper in quite some time it seems and the b07 version has poor fps. Your best hope is Green's dod_goodwood

As far as I am aware (my clan was lined up to be testers) the project is dead.

Infact, so far as new maps go, the whole scene is dead. I have not tested a new DoDS map for many months. I used to get one or two a week to test at least.
