Well, I don't know if you mean this by plugin system, but there already are some awesome Addons for Audiosurf:

As for the YouTube plugin, Audiosurf needs the whole track to analyse it and create the road, and I don't think YouTube would like AS downloading a whole video, since it'd be easier for people to pirate the songs that way, still, it'd be a great addition!
