I'm trying to start the game but a message appears saying the limit of instalations was reached and I need to buy other cd-key to play... I never installed the game in another computer, what the hell is happening?

valve needs to be sued they have ruined so many games making games require steam to run
don't get games on steam it just breaks them or you buy and install a faulty game file reinstalling is useless

Steam is fine, But check for some activation limit exe in the folders. There should be one that would give you back those you uninstalled. It might hold some feature about it.
Oh yeah you need to uninstall the game everytime if you want to keep the limits at 5. I'm not sure how people manage to lose them so quickly.

Problem solved with the EA support. They re-authorized my serial for more five installations.

I actually find steam very good in this department.
Its DRM like Securom which cause all the trouble. In this case crysis warhead has this.

The DRM is not Valves doing, so get your head out of your ♥♥♥ and read up on facts before you start throwing blame around.

IMO Valve needs to use their leverage with companies like this to act as proxy for these issues so Steam users don't have to deal w/ them.
Yeah, right........ that'll totally happen.
