How to remap keys to be mouse-only?

My mouse has a ton of buttons and I'd like to use them, but I can't figure out how to change they keys of the main actions (spawn more balls, shoot that laser, use shield, etc)

Any help on this?

Shatter Settings Editor > Controller > Key binding/Remap keys (or something like that). It works with my Logitech G5 (I can bind the side buttons).
