Aion and Steam

I recently bought Aion from Steam, however it does not work like other steam games I have played. For example I don't have the overlay or when I launch the game though steam, it does not say I'm 'In-Game'. Rather it loads the NCSoft launcher.

Am I doing something wrong? or is something broken?

Sorry, I missed that one!

However, that only mentions getting the steam overlay to work. What about saving the hours you have played etc on your steam profile?

I got the steam overlay working, and i had to do nothing special... just installed the game and it worked fine.

I have windows XP - SP3

Overlay worked with me first try also.

Steam tracks the amount of time the NCsoft Launcher is open if your overlay isn't working correctly.

Do you mean as soon as you bought it? without having to set it up as a non steam game?
