Hey,

After watching the trailer for this game, it looks quite interesting. With in the video it showed the person picking up a container and throwing it at a enemy and having it blow up.

What are some of the other things can you pick up with your mind? Can you throw people against the wall? Throw Chairs/tables/boulders etc? Can you pull the guns from the enemy's hand?

I'm mainly interested with what you can do with your mind in the game.

You can't do anything with your mind, Renko isn't psychic. About an hour into the game, he's given a device that can manipulate gravity and time. The TMD can age an enemy a hundred years in seconds, turning them into dust, age their cover so it crumbles, revert enemies to a more primordial form of man that will attack anything, send out a pulse of energy that shoves things back and dismembers anything too weak to withstand it (normal humans are usually one-hit kills) or create an area-effect bubble where time slows to a crawl so bullets are easily dodged or enemies easily shot.

The TMD runs on energy that very slowly recharges or can be quickly recharged with pickups that function like EVE needles in Bioshock, so you can't spam it everywhere, you need to use it intelligently in combination with your guns (although the assault rifle is somewhat over-powered.)

Well he can't age EVERYTHING, I just finished it, and you can only really age stuff that has been touched by E99, which is surprisingly few objects, considering the entire island was supposedly bathed in the stuff when the singularity blew out.

Actually the phrasing the doctor uses is "imbued", which probably involves being manufactured with E99 in it. That would be why E99 imbued objects have a clear radiation symbol on them.

Do they?
I didn't notice a radiation sign on any of the health or ammo boxes that you can age back :/

It's not a radiation sign, it's the E99 logo. And yes, it doesn't work on everything, but it works on anything relevant. All the giant blocks of concrete enemies take cover behind are made with E99, as are all the worn-out ammo boxes. Nice of the Russians to only make important things out of the stuff.
