i am about to totally give this game up. i cannot do ANY damsage at all to this guy. a walkthrough i found said to simply zap him with lightning damage to take a third of his life away. I have tried this many times, but his force push always stuns me long enough for him to assault me defenselessly. another walkthrough i found claimed that anyone could easily discover his weakness. i hate cheating, but i hate impossibly hard bosses even more (particularly this early in the game). is there some secret trick to beating him?

Kadzan is annoying to be sure. Consider yourself lucky you arent playing him on Sith Master mode where its even harder to kill him.

yeah, no dice
he throws that blue ball, which knocks you down, hits you with another one the instant you are on your feet, and is on you with a lightsaber before you can stand. meanwhile, there is no way to angle force lightning, forcing you to maneuver him to directly to the side, or directly above. and afterwards when you try to force throw him into a wall, instead you pick up some random debris which is nowhere near where you are looking

This guy gave me no end of trouble originally. Make sure you are jumping around and not just standing there to get knocked around. The trick is hitting him with lightning. You have to make sure he is highlighted before attacking. When you do stun him grab him and throw him around or hit him with your own force push. He is much harder than he needs to be but no impossible.
