Man, first up. I strongly dislike coming here for the first time and posting something negative, but i feel i should speak my mind.
when i mean "ported", i mean from the original box of Aliens versus Predator Gold. This version just doesn't seem the same, and there are serveral glaring problems.
There seems to be a split second of delay in the Alien's jumping/pouncing attack. In the original AvP Gold, when i would jump and claw, the move would commence right on the spot and connect with the target i'm trying to destroy. But i can't seem to do that now with this version, sometimes there seems to be a slight delay in that move, and sometimes the move won't even go.
This probably has been mentioned before, but what is with the color changing Humans? They don't glow Red or Green, just Blue. Not a game changing problem, but it annoys me. I just want to play the game the way it was supposed to be, and there is nothing wrong with that.
And the delay problem has a little of the same effect on movement also, and along with the tail.
I play this game to get away from the imbalances of AvP3/AvP2010. I don't want to be greeted with the same lazyness of developers that neglected the console versions of AvP3/2010.
I'am disappointed as this is one of my highly favorite games. );|
