I have a complaints about current media client-side storing system.
1. Why some videos (those that delivered in gcf) take twice of space? Why must they be stored simultaneously in gcf and unpacked (after first launch)? Can't they be stored only in one copy to safe my disc space?
2. Why does media player go with every video separately? Instead of one SMP for all videos? I must add SMP as trusted application to my proactive defence' rules every time i want to watch new video in steam locally. Sure, i could just add VALVe as trusted softaware vendor, so that proactive defence could automatically add rule for every new SMP executable. But these executables are digitally unsigned.
