This game hates win7x64

ive seen others post there problems i heard good things about this game.it was on sale.

doesn't show my max res (1920x1080)

doesn't get past first loading or screen or anything but will launch the game just fine

freezes right after i hit start for new game.

tried all the fixes the FOV wide-screen a patch. another patch for wide-screen.

tried limiting to 1 core (i have 3)

i feel ive wasted my money. sigh*

any ideas before i unistall....hope to god killing floor isnt like this bull$%^&

The game is from 2004, it doesn't natively support that high resolutions. The widescreen patch has it's flaws as well. The best would be to play it at like 1600x1200 or something and use the HD textures pack. I got Win 7 x64 and it works just fine.

I'm running this on win7x64 at 1920x1080 with the load-screen fix from the other win7 thread, along with the FOV patch of course. Oh and the texture pack for extra pretty.
