This is a great game which I discovered through Defense Grid!
Anyway what would make this even better would be to remove the resource hunting. Let it be automatic after we plant a sunflower, like all the other strategy games.
The way it is now, is a clicking game, annoying and repetitive. You click and click and don't have the time to think or watch back and enjoy your strategy and the animation.

If not for the constant sun coming from the sky and sunflowers, you woul be sitting there doin nothing ALOT lol.
In my eyes sitting there doing almost nothing is more boring than clicking alot.
I think it's perfect the way it is :)

I don't agree. You are spending your time clicking instead of watching your work. Play Defense Grid a little, you will see that there is great satisfaction to sit and watch back your enemies getting destroyed by your design!

I have both games. Plants vs Zombies is better.

Good for you. I don't like PvZ that way. The sun clicking is annoying.

The clicking and lack of time to appreciate/plan is part of the games design. THey want to keep you moving the mouse and multi-tasking. it's not really a strategic tower defense game where you have limited resources to work with and have to use the proper towers in the proper places for maximum effect. PvZ gives you more than enough resources to destroy mistakes and build a massive force.
It's fine the way it is.

If you don't like playing and clicking all the time, play Last Stand. You can set your plants without the zombies incoming, and then sit back and watch.
