read the 1up review before buying Monkey Island 2 SE

if like me you are a diehard fan of the original MI2 then youll be incredibly disappointed by what theyve done to the special edition.

so buyer beware, read the 1up review which lists all the poor design choices and blatant content ripping thats happened.

ill list some for those that cant be bothered.

no opening credits with the dancing monkey
no full ending credits
autosave icon that cant be turned off removes subtitles when it appears.
imuse system, that subtely alters the music based on location isnt in the game anymore.
classic mode music sounds like it was sampled from a spectrum.
developer commentary cuts off.

If these are true, then of course I'm going to be a little miffed -- but that's definitely not enough to stop me from playing one of the best games in the all the land!

I highly doubt iMuse was taken out. But I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Imuse hadn't been taking out or they done a very good Simulation because it really changes the music dynamically and it sounds awesome :)

However the no intro is definately a odd one. They do have the music from the intro playing in the Menu. Still lame though very lame.

* Fixed music synching issue with the Bone Dance sequence
* Fixed various music cross-fading issues
* Addressed Cursor issues when using an XBox360 controller
* Added intro and outro credits sequences to the Classic version
* Added acceleration curve to cursor speed
* Increased volume level of "Classic" Chester
