Got into one game, now I can't see anything

Well, I got into a single game successfully the first time I played. Then, I hit some major framerate slowdown so I exited out to see what was going on.

Anyways, going back into the game, I am able to connect to a number of games, and create games myself, but once I get "on the moon", I can only see the moonscape and randomly my character or a building or etc will "flash" into view when I move the mouse around.

I have tried about 15 times to exit and re-enter the game, with the same results. Game cache is verified.

Running a Nvidia 8600GTS on a AMD 64 X2 4200+ in 1024x768 High mode. tried other resolutions and video options to no avail.

Autobahn it sounds like a problem I had too, I changed drivers to the newest Nvidia drivers, but Im not sure if I fixed it because right after I switched drivers I learned about the EULA buttprobe and uninstalled, but I did play one game with new drivers and it seemed like it didnt bug out.
