Probably being a paranoid hippy or something, but is it safe to play? being owned by the military or whatever makes me a little uneasy, like, they can't somehow recruit you or something if you play it? Guessing not, but you never know what they can hide in the licence agreements...
And second, is it fun? Looks like Battlefield 2 (I have that game and its so freaking fun) or is it like Rainbow Six Rogue Spear (another great game) or is it a hybrid of them?
Thanks.

I would call it more of a hybrid between the two games you mentioned. The playing areas are smaller the BF2, the graphics are decent and the players probably some of the nicest people you'll meet.
The games promotes you through an honor system which whacks you for tking or going too lone wolf. Consequently, the game encourges teamplay and for the most part very fair people to play with.
Now, the challenge. As you'll see by the high honor scores, some players spend a lot of time in the game and know the maps, weapons and missions incredibly well. So expect to get killed a lot when you start playing:cool:
Oh, and no theres no active recruiting nor is everyone on the game necessarily military or wanting to join, its just a great and best of all, free game.

This game is actually a bit horrible.
i tried playing it again after a year, and its still very horrid.
Which is just sad because America's Army 2 was much better.
If you have MW2, or BC2, there is no point in playing this game, it's buggy as hell.
They need to delete this game ,and bring back AA2.
honest opinion.

warning - this game might make your hand/arm muscles sore! Possibly neck/shoulders too, if you have bad seating/desk/setup of these - also watch radiation from screen to your eyes :)
So not entirely safe to play. Also you might run into racists, bigots, sexual predators etc, just like in real life, during online play. Mostly though servers are well admin'd. But 'user experience may change during online play' :)

its pretty fun even tho there are still a lot of bugs. as far as safe because the army made it.. I would say so.. after the years they started making it more in to just a game then a recruiting tool
