I'd really like to have the ability to look in directions other than straight ahead and behind. Maybe hotkeys for left/right/up?

Something I saw in Wings of Prey that I like a lot is the "target camera"-- it centers your view on your current target, which makes dogfighting a lot less guesswork (and also simulates where the pilot keeps his gaze).

Hmm... not bad in a way, but the problem I think, would be that at least I can't think of how to fly the plane in this game if not looking forward. Maybe there should be indicators on the target markers, like "6 o' clock low" and "3 o' clock High" (probably as 6"Hi and 3"lo so there ain't too much of useless text... Or maybe in colors; the "clock" -direction and either green, yellow or red font if the plane is higher, same level or lower).

You'd still see the plane (if in 3rd person), just like the rear view already is. It should also have the same feature about reverting to forward view when released.
