Combined Operations + Mods

Hey everybody,

I can't seem to find an answer to this question. I've got a few mods running on Arma 2 before buying AO. Anyway, since AO is missing a few Arma 2 units and addons, I was prepared to play Combined Operations.

However, the problem now is that on my expansions list on Combined Operations, none of my mods appear, I don't know how to activate them anymore for Combined Operations.

I bought Arma 2 Retail and OA via Steam.

Any help would be appreciated.

Combined Operations launches OA and sets it to load the original A2 as a mod. If you have a mod loaded into A2 the expansions list will only show the loaded mods and not anything else. Thus due to the statement in the first sentence it will now show the mods. You can launch a mod from Addon Sync by adding "-mod=C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2;Expansion;ca" with the quotes to the advanced tab of the launch game tab of a server info window. You can also make a shortcut on the desktop with that parameter added in, again with quotes, and then add the rest of your mods separated with semicolons.

You need to edit the command file used by STEAM to launch OA with ArmA2

In the future Bohemia Interactive will rectify this situation by patching the steam version to combine both installations into a single folder
