Doom 3 Loading Screen Issue

For some reason when I load up Doom 3 the loading screen stays for a while then shoots back to the title screen with no sound. I keep doing 3 more times without rebooting the game to get the game to load. So My question is, how do I fix this problem? I am currently running Windows 7 64 with a quad core processor at 2.4 GHZ, 4GB of RAM, 8800GT, and I tried running as admin and xp mode. Any ideas?

i think game is tooo old for win 7 os.

The patch that was released to make it work with Vista works fine for me with Windows 7 64 Pro.
