I bought this game in the steam sale a while ago, and I like to record myself playing. I have a few questions.
1) Can I name the demos ? When i type 'record x' in console in records 'demo0000'
2) How do I save these demos ? I've used the record command a few times yet only one of the demos saved.
3) How do I replay these demos ?

That's all I want to know really.

Oh, and is United Offensive an expansion pack of CoD 1 ?

In the console you can type

/record <demoname>
/stoprecord

To start and stop recording. If you leave off the demo name, the game picks a name itself, and that is why you see names like demo0000.

To replay a demo use:

/demo <demoname>

If you want to record the demo for viewing outside of the game, you can use a 3rd party program like FRAPS.

And UO is indeed an expansion pack for COD1.

Thanks for the help :)

I have FRAPS already, but it takes up too much memory to be recording constantly with it.

That is why you take your demo with the console commands while you are playing. Later, when you aren't connected to the server you can play back the demo and record with FRAPS. FRAPS makes the game too laggy to play and record at the same time.
