The 'Elite Kill' 1337 enemies achievement

Been playing the game offline for a while, and I'm worried that I might've skipped past this achievement without knowing.

I checked the registry and unlike the values for mission, experience, money.etc, I don't see anything that seems to be following the no. of kills. Is it tied into the experience_points value?

Probably tied to experience points. Not sure.

Ah, I probably wouldn't worry about. I'd say one of two things are going on:

1) The kills you've made haven't actually counted since you weren't connected to the Steam servers for it to log them

or

2) FL:BoB remembered them and logged them on the servers and either:

2a) You haven't actually gotten quite enough kills yet

2b) FL:BoB just hasn't synchronized with the servers and will pop up saying you've got the trophy after a while of having the game just running (happened with me afew times on another game)
