Sorry for a bit of a noobish question, but do i need to forward any ports? If so, which ones?
Coming from xbox, havent been in the pc gaming loop for years ;)
Help appreciated.

I would also like to know the ports for the PC. I have looked but have not found any thing. My NAT is open but I may want to add the ports to the router.
EDIT:
I'm seeing port 3824 in use for BLTD
and Steam 5100
i'll keep an eye out....
Of course GFWL ports should probaly be in use for voice.

I heard this program can let you host without PF-ing

This is a must-try, which should have existed long ago. Someone else recommended it, and I know how port forwarding is both insecure and a pain.

In all the games i played i did NOT need to esplicitally enable port forwarding.

well i thought i have port problems because the games i play are only like 2v2 or something.. on xbox that indicates port problems, if your games arent full, or whatever. maybe i am just talking out of my a** as well :D
but thanks for the answers. is there a way to check if NAT is working properly?
