It seems a lot of people are going to be downloading this if possible can you open up preloading a day before so we can enjoy it on release ? Thanks /sign

I agree with this, but there is a chance 80% of the people who heard of it would preload it, which would kind of defeat the purpose.

Would not defeat the purpose because who cares for a slow downloading rate if the game is not available yet.

Well, the server is going to be extremely on load on monday. You can just imagine over 200,000 steam users all downloading alien swarm at once. I don't think I have a chance to download it before the steam servers crash.

Well i did not see any slowdown at all after the free portal announcement, I'm not really worried.
