I have a problem with this game I purchased it from steam but when I run the game my laptop gives me " IT stops to work " or like this ...

My laptop is Toshiba Qosmio it is suitable for all games !!
I did not why .. Can you help me ????

I had this problem then I did this:

Run the DXSETUP.EXE in the folder located in the installation folder. I guess it didn't install when I first loaded it.

Other people may have this problem so just do that.

I've tried everything. Still when I start the came there comes a message saying Monkey Island 2> special edition stopped working. And the window closes. SOMEONE HELP!! I frikkin bought this game, and im not satisfied!!:mad: I have a Toshiba harman/kardon and I have all the requirements to make this game run!

i know exactly what you mean. i bought the monkey island the first one, months ago and doesnt work and steam just dont help and dont care
thats why i havent bought le chucks revenge

and i love the monkey island games

Don't know 'bout loads, but I too have a problem. When I click "Play" it tries to start then crashes with a "Monkey Island 1 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" error.

Updated DirectX and .NET, and not working.
