The most unoriginal game play I have ever experienced

For the subject matter this game lacks the depth games should have by now, im getting sick and tired of games that are repetitive like this, you die, and respawn from the same check point over and over again. the time devices are limited to certain things like boxes and safes. it takes you out of the emersion, Raven didnt even try to hide the limitations of the device.

This game is utter crap they wasted their efforts making another shooter clone like so many others before them.

funny, i don't remember seeing the same checkpoint more than once or twice. you must be doing something wrong.

This game is a mix match of several other games, but, all in all, it is still one heck of a fun game.

The TMD is not the be-all and end-all of Singularity gameplay. Far from it. It is a gimmick, nothing more, nothing less. It's no more or less groundbreaking or original than plasmids or the gravity gun.

i agree actually, my point was, i wouldnt call this a shooter clone. aside from it being way too short, i loved it.

If you actually paid ANY attention while playing the game, (which I am assuming you didn't at all) you would have realized that they said the TMD only works on objects that have been created with E99. If you try to use it on something that is not created with E99 nothing will happen.

Also agree with people telling you to turn down the difficulty, obviously you can't handle the default.

If you put all yours points into guns, and health, expect to play the game as a shooter?

Seriously, I put almost all my points into more TMD Juice, getting more on kills, and boosting the TMD powers, yeah, it could have had a bit more work put in to it, and by the end of the game, I had everything maxxed out anyway, but near the middle of the game, I barely ever used the guns, and spent most of my time running around setting those bubble traps on enemies then running in with a shotgun and just blasting them, or turning soldiers into reverts then sneaking past them, or sometimes just running into a room and throwing out Impulses left and right, or aging everyone who got in my way, as the regain outpaced the aging cost.

Agreed. Game sucks. Another pointless shooter. Fail to see where's the fun in it.

LOL I was thinking it was a nice change to the usual shooter :-)
Don't get me wrong it has so many elements taken from other games but that isn't always a bad thing.
Bioshock for all the notes / audio / clips (gives it a bit of depth)
Half-Life 2 EP2 for the Singularity (a.k.a the City 17 portal)
Half-Life 2 Deathmatch with it's grav gun (Love that game)
So I say don't rush these things. Many games lack depth if you just want to kill everything like your playing Call of Duty ;-)

Yeah, Modern Wafare 2 TOTALLY didn't already beat them to the punch with "Most Unoriginal Shooter". :rolleyes:

God, don't get me started on COD...I think the latest instalmments are bit overrated, but I'm looking forward to Singularity; lets see how this goes, as I just got done installing it. :)
