Questions about mapping

will there be a webpage set up for ppl who wish to map for Alien swarm ?
will the mapping Techniques be the same for uk2k maps but used with source mapping tools?
also i read in a thread about map tile generation would that be something simular to the hl1 engine's rand-map program that was made some years ago ?
