Need Lower End SSD Help

Ok If u have been reading other threads I have created you would know I am working on a test pc and now I am trying to figure out what ssd to use.

The main use of the ssd will be reading so a fast read is needed(write not super important).It's not for gaming and will mostly be using a few programs.

What I am thinking is the intel x25 40gb version, but not sure how it is compared to the 80gb one(I like my 80gb one).Is there a better one then the x25 for what I need?

Unless $100 is all youve got for this, go with a 60GB Vertex 2 for $160 that beats the X25-M (and slaughters the 40GB X25-M).

For me, seeing that 60GB Vertex 2 for well under $200 makes me want one really bad. Didnt know they were that cheap + Im sick of slow HDDs.
