Flares are extremely bright..

Anyone know if it's possible to fix the flares being too bright?

everyone i know that makes maps has the same issue..

I can vouch for that. That kind of brightness usually only occurs after you toss 3+ flares on the same spot.

Give http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1371332 a shot. Tossing several flares will make that same effect even after using that tutorial, but it should tone down when you throw one :)
