All I seen here are "defend until death maps" or more the same "Go hear and clear the infestation" stuff in custom map ideas. Anything new or interesting?

We have quite a bit planned out on this one, new characters, new skins for the old characters, a large amount of campaigns, completely new and custom graphics for the maps as well.

I'm most likely going to correctly implement a more feminine model for the female characters.

And my favorite, a bit of additional aliens. =]

well yeah, those are the easiest to make. probably next week we will see the first real story campaign. (my speculation)

I'm working on a campaign myself. I'm hoping for 6 to 8 levels.

It takes place in the arctic. That's all I want to say for now

I'm building a little 3 map campaign. First time using hammer, bout half done with the first map.

urban as in city? how are you gonna keep the camera on em? i dunno right now. i have some ideas on gameplay, but not much on story (havent even played all the maps yet), but i know i want to get some height differences. flat maps are very boring. probably gonna do a series of biomass/holdout things (basically call the alarm; wait: go to another one).

ATM I'm working on an Infested Forest campaign. The basic gist of it is that the first map is a lot like the official maps. But from the second map onwards the scenery is foresty. The second map will be a forest (not sure if it's day or night yet) as well as a log cabin & cave. The third map will be twighlight forest similar to what you would find in the game Trine, where everything sparkles but isn't quite as nice as it might look.

The fourth and fifth maps are secret atm, but I'm planning something big, involving a queen chase, and fire.
