Is there any reason why they haven't bundled all three games together into a deal, giving you a maybe $5 discount or something? I'd buy something like that, even though I already own two of the games (not with steam).

I think it's because all 3 games each have a different distributor and that is most likely the reason.
SoC = THQ
CS = Deep Silver
CoP = BitComposer
I still don't see this as a real reason Steam couldn't offer a better deal for it's loyal users.
I suppose from Steam's standpoint, their prices are lowest around, or at least on par with what others are offering for the same game titles, either through digital downloads or even retail copies. Steam having a better price advantage over others I would think is all they care about, while not being too low on the pricing, so Steam can still make some profit.

'cause then you'd weigh too much to run.

And you would get exhausted almost immediately...

..And then you wouldn't be able to jump. Keep in mind that if you keep on drinking energy drink you could have a heart attack due to the caffeine! O_O
On a more serious note, it's certainly due to the fact that all three games are published by different publishers. You've got to be joking if you think that THQ would ever be nice and team up with the other publishers.

Well I don't see a real issue. SoC & CS are considered "classics" and are no longer supported, etc. etc... I don't see a reason why Steam couldn't offer their own "bundle" package deal, just to give fans a better price for grabbing all 3 titles. But again if you compare Steam to others, you're already getting a good, low price, so from Steam's standpoint, no real purpose to do such a deal.

VALVe/Steam have given a 'discount' to those that bought one of them a while back, they also priced the lot at less than the cost of a loaf of bread over the Christmas period and I am pretty sure they did it again at the Easter Break and again around the 5th July.
As for a bundle of all three I doubt it would ever happen because of the reasons already mentioned however that doesn't stop VALVe/Steam from doing it as a reseller.
Pretty sure once the numbers drop off for COP in stores and online then we will see discounts and maybe then a bundle will be released.

Yeah I say just wait for another good sale, like XMAS '09, SoC was $2
And when the prices drop or there is a good sale, just grab whatever you don't have, or grab all 3 at once.
As I doubt we'll ever see a bundle. Only place I've seen any kind of bundle is on some Russian sites who have the SoC+CS collector edition bundle, but I've yet to see any kind of bundle that includes all 3 games.

I guess considering that the developer's have said that the forth (fifth and sixth?) game/s will be the 'sequel', I assume games 1,2 and 3 will merged into a deal sometime in the future. Just like the original half life and it's expansions.

Do you mean something like this, OP?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003S3QX7A/ref=pe_28331_21118701_pe_vfe_t5
Included in the above bundle is Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat.
Looks like bitComposer and Koch managed to reach an agreement, shame about THQ.

Yes but why would that be a big deal, that is just a bundle price for SoC & CS retail and that's all u get are the two games, no extras.
The Russian SoC & CS bundle pack is a bundle of both collector's editions. Which means you getting alot of cool collectibles from both game titles. Not just the games.
