Not connecting to Audiosurf server

Whenever I finish a song text pops up saying "connecting to audiosurf server" and stays there for a long time. When it finally disappears my score doesn't pop up on the leader board (in fact, nobodies scores do) and when I check the comment section it looks like it is for random songs.

Any idea whats wrong? I've had the game for a long long long time and this is the first time this has happened =/

No, I get this once in awhile.

It usually ends up connecting after 5 seconds though, or had no problem in the first place.

Happens to me a lot. The more songs I play in a row the more likely it is to happen. If I exit and restart the game everything is back to normal - for another 4-5 songs, then it starts over.

After a few seconds of "connecting to audiosurf server..." the message disappears and either an empty list is shown (as for the OP) or the score board of the previous song with my previous score in it. And sometimes it shows the right table.

And one more funny thing. When the "connecting blablabla..." text is displayed, if I click a few times into one of the empty lists, the game crashes.
