FPS stuck at 59

Hi

I just bought, downloaded and installed Counter Strike Source for Mac.

I have the late 2009 MacBook Pro 15" slightly upgraded. I should be able to run Counter Strike Source without any problems, right? Well, it seems not. Having full screen resolution I scored a static FPS of 59. Scaling down the resolution, no improvements were to be found. Therefore, I suspect this is a configuration problem.

Any thoughts?

On machines with 10.6.4 and NV video, we are forcing vsync on. There are reasons.

You can bypass this:

gl_disable_forced_vsync 1

in the dev console.

or

+gl_disable_forced_vsync 1

in launch options panel for the title.
