Manhunt crash on windows xp...

I bought yesterday the game Manhunt on your platform, only, once arrived at a grid after having killed the two first hunters of the tuto “NEW CHANCE”, this one does not open, I am entitled to a beautiful error “Manhunt with ceased functioning” and crash landing of the play, I am certain that it is the way to be taken having seen video on this subject.

It is thus desperate nothing to find on the Net on this subject that I come to ask you of the assistance relating to this problem preventing me from playing.

pretty much everybody is having problems with manhunt, sad to say looks like theres no fix anytime soon, since ive been having crashing/gate problems with manhunt for months now

That's rather disappointing. Is it just that one point that crashes, like can you start at a later level? (provided you have the ability)

I got the good old retail version and it works flawlessly on windows xp, it seems like Steam version has probs the original didn't have. Try to find some saved games online

yeah it never used to be like this so i made progress b4 the update messed it all up, and on every other level all the doors/gates are stuck and when u pick up/switch a weapon the game crashes

Please check the previous theme - Stuck in tutorial level . That says enough how to overcome the problem. Replace the .exe file from the links there and cancel updates from Steam.
