Cool, I have had them retail since release and bought them on Steam when released there, but nice to see GOG has the originals available also. Now if we could just get SS1 & SS2 on GOG.:)

THQ still has the rights to Sam2, yes? I don't get why they're being so stingy with it - they have plenty of other games on digital outlets.
EDIT: Oh, you probably meant "System Shock," not "Serious Sam." Heh. In that case, damn straight! (If GOG's programmers can get SS2 running on a modern OS, they should be knighted.)

A buddy of mine had it on a thumb drive brought it over and it played great on Win7 64 so I know it's possible. I don't know where he got it from and I didn't ask though I suspect it came by way of some salty dogs on tall ships. Played enough to know I want my own legal copy.
Don't know about who owns Serious S 2. Fun though not really up to Serious Sam standards as a mindless slaughterfest of destruction. Very pretty though. I have a retail copy.

I never managed to get SS2 working on XP, though I know some have. I think it helps to have an ATI graphics card (I don't). It never occured to me to try under Win7, so perhaps I will (right now I have on old Dell running Win98 specifically for Dark Engine games).
I have a retail copy. It can be obtained on eBay for $40ish these days. Which is not cheap for an old, used game... but considering that it's a classic and that they still have the nerve to charge $60 for Modern Warfare 2, I'd call it a deal.

Ha ha I even bought original SS TFE from GOG and I find interesting see some small difference to HD. I crank everything to max 1920x1080 and it look still nice.
Yeah the original didn't look too bad at all. For years it threw PCs to their knees. Similar to how the original FarCry was and to a lesser extent Crysis.

why pay 10 bucks on that joke site for one game when you can get all 4 of them for the same price here???

Steam version is the winner. I ordered for $10 2 gifted for Hd and I got 2 classic. Happy with that :)
