Maxing my 3.4ghz cpu core WTF

and its not even a demanding game I can play bfbc2 maxed no problem but this game is maxing my cpu
I have a quad core but its only using 1 and maxing it.

its making it very slow and impossible to play. giving me like 1 frame per 20 seconds

i had a similar issue.

throw it to XP SP2 compatability mode and turn on "Run as Administrator" as well as everything else avail except the 256 colors option.

i'm not sure what part did the trick and i'm to lazy to check, but it fixed that problem for me :p
