Hello
I got a problem that after I have been playing in a server for like 10min it suddenly disconnect with the stupid error ever. It can be when I play dust2 then it change level to dust2 again then it says, Missing map De_dust2, or it can be downloading maps I already have! Sometimes I just disconnect say disconnected: then no error message, but after that when I try to go into a server again it says: Steam Certificate Length Error 0/2048!
I have tried uninstall css and steam, but that didn't help. I tried deleting some bin folders - Didn't help either
I have also tried to delete clientregistry.blob, and more thing.
Please help me!:(

Already did, but I don't think they can help me out, and I really hope that someone have got this error before, and fixed it

Well I googled it and found that it was a common issue for 64bits users. Try to google it youself, and see who's in the same situation as you.

I HAVE googled it alot (I always use google as my solution to thing) and everyone else who had this problem was using CSS NONSTEAM but I use the original CSS. And I use 32bit. So I am still lost :(

A virus doesn't affect steam, and can't do this thing :)
And I don't have a virus since I have: CSS, Ventrilo, Mumble and other gaming stuff. So no virus :)

Try this. Delete the files in the steam folder. (don't touch any folders) and keep steam.exe.
So you should have steam.exe and folders inside the steam folder. Then run steam. It should update/reinstall the files it needs.
Then give it a try.

This error happens if you are using cracked game (at least thats what Google say)
The fix:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/240/

Possible server problem.
"Steam Certificate Length Error"
My error did not have the 0/2048 on the end.
I had this error on one computer, logged on with another computer(same steam account) same problem. Deleted .blog type files and such did not help. I could connect other CSS servers just not this one on my network here a the house. I could connect to another css server with the same machine. I deleted the linux css server and let it reload, put in my server.cfg and autoexec.cfg and now my game machine connects without the error.
Server problem.
I had stopped mani, sourcemod and metamod on the server and my game would still not connect to it.
Fresh install and it connects now. I'll load up mani and see how it does.
Hope this helps ya.
