Just a note:

Its not really a barricade mode is it ?

Of course, there is a barricade map and stuff to defend but you really should rename it to 'hold the line' or something similar, which fits the gameplay ;)

A barricade mode, in a zombie game, immediately suggests the following elements:

1. Some sort of house or building to hold.
2. Ability to use objects/move items to block doors and windows.
3. Zombies smashing said objects and breaking in over time.
4. Defending broken areas and trying to keep thins repaired/held.

What i would suggest is perhaps implementing something like that, or maps with similar effects upon them.

I do enjoy holding the line, but its hardly a barricade mode in that sense.

Of note however:

Bridgehead was fantastic. I enjoyed the last stand feeling, and warehouse was also enjoyable with the fences etc, but it is very much a 'hold the line' defense, rather than a barricading thing.

Love the npc help! <3

Hello Kitsunami,

You're right. We called it Barricade mode when it was first suggested and stuck with the name.

Several players suggest adding the ability to create and repair barricades which I think is very doable. Once that is added, the game mode will be much closer to the typical Barricade gameplay style.

Adding the ability to repair/create your own barricades would be a lovely addition to the game ^^

Excellent idea actually, even though I love it already as it is :)

Yes, barricade mode is my favorite and would love to see some additions to it (now with co-op I'm trying to get my buddies into the game again)

Repairing barricades would be awesome as well as the ability to put down sentries, sort of like FPS tower defense.
