Hey guys, I am not making a mod but I am trying to disable the hud, view of my weapon, and make NPCs invisible. I am trying to piece together a shot of Alyx and Gordon in a desktop wallpaper with an awesome screenshot from the game.
I am thinking either that first alley of ravenholm with the view of the burning bodies on stakes or the view of the citadel from the bridge in ep 2.
I just need to know how to make my gun invisible and make alyx invisible. The hud command I found already.
Thanks for the help,
GA.

It would work to just take the gun out of gordon's hands right? How do you do that?
I'd still like to know of it is possible to either make Alyx/NPCs invisible or just remove them both.

You can hide the hud by turning cheats on and doing cl_drawhud 0

Use Cl_drawhud 0
Impulse 200 makes the weapon invisible but you can still use it.
There is not way to remove the npcs, they are embedded in the map,
you can however use Gmod, and its remover tool to remove npcs from the map.

Ok. Thanks for the Impulse 200 tip, that's what I was looking for. I may just use the Ravenholm one to get around having Alyx in the picture twice.
I don't really feel like removing NPCs from maps, a bit overkill imo.

This mod adds countless "CheatZ" likes these to your hotkeys menu. Remove the hud, third person, remove the hands/body models, etc.

I would suggest using Gmod, because you can pose characters and they have a tool just for taking pictures in game.
