This is not live chat, please do not bump your posts, especially after only 2 minutes.
There is a forum related to these games, I'm moving the thread there.
You really need to supply system information if you really want help.

What are your system specs? If you're not sure then what is the model # of your computer?
Are all your drivers/Directx up to date?

Ok, need to know what your video card is.
Hit the Windows key and R, type "dxdiag" (without the quotes) into the box that pops up then click the "display 1" tab when the window pops up. That will tell you your video card make/model. Post the make/model for me.
I really hope it's not Intel.
Edit: Before I get ahead of myself, have you verified the game cache?

It is an intel pentium dual core. And no, I have NOT verified game cache, My dumbass, ill try that right now, now what do you mean, windows key? Im only 14, and im a dumbass. xD

See if verifying helps first.
The Windows key is generally located between the left Ctrl and Alt keys. It has the Windows logo on it.
Alternatively, you can go to the start menu and just type in "run" (without quotes). It takes you to the same place.

Sony notebook?
What graphics card has it got? You might need to update the drivers.
Have you played other games on this machine?

The Chip type is Intel(R) GMA 950. Hope that helps.

Ok, that computer will not run Doom 3 I'm afraid. It's an "all in one" computer with an Intel GMA 950 with 256MB of video memory. That's just not enough for Doom 3. Intel video chips aren't made for gaming. They're "display adapters" not actual graphics cards. They're made to run your screen and watch movies on. Nothing more.
Doom 3 Supported Chipsets: ATI® RadeonTM 8500, ATI® RadeonTM 9000, ATI® RadeonTM 9200, ATI® RadeonTM 9500, ATI® RadeonTM 9600, ATI® RadeonTM 9700, ATI® RadeonTM 9800, all nVidia® GeForceTM 3/Ti series, all nVidia® GeForceTM 4MX series, all nVidia® GeForceTM 4/Ti series, all nVidia® GeForceTM FX series, nVidia® GeForceTM 6800*Important Note: Some 3D accelerator cards with the chipset listed here may not be compatible with the 3D accelerator features utilized by Doom 3. Please refer to your hardware manufacturer for 100% DirectX 9.0b compatibility. This product does not support Microsoft® Windows® 95/98/ME or NT.
No mention of Intel chips... Not a good sign.
You might want to Google around for Doom 3 tweaks for Intel chipsets but I honestly doubt you're gonna find much.
Since it's an "all in one" pc, you can't upgrade the video card. You're gonna have to look into saving up for a proper tower desktop pc if you want to play games.
The reason you have no problem playing Source games is because they're CPU dependent. They really don't need a great video card to run. Now Doom 3 is an entirely different beast. It is mostly GPU dependent and Intels just don't have the power to run it.

Oh dear that's just a little bit better than what current netbooks have...
I am surprised that the other games run. You must play at min. details and lowest resolution right?

Yea make sure your next computer has a ATI Radeon or Nvidia Geforce video card :-)
Did you buy the doom pack? Because doom 1 and 2 are also a lot of fun. I recommend you play it through zDoom though. zDoom is a launcher that will make it easier to playe these "old school" games :-D

Look into building your own PC. It's no different than playing with Legos and it's really easy to do. Head on over to the Hardware and OS section of the Forums and tell them your budget. They'll come up with some build ideas for you.
Stay away from Alienware. They will charge your $2,000+ for a "gaming pc" that you could put together yourself for $1,000 or less...
