It's just an addon so highly unlikely that addon to AC II drops this DRM.

Except for RUSE, apparently. It's the only one of their games at the moment I'm actually considering.

Don't buy. Your choise. But why are paying attention to Ubisoft then?
Obviously because I am interested in their products and I'll buy them when they start caring more about customers than pirates again.
If we don't share our opinion, Ubisoft doesn't know it and will just think their loss of sales is because studios are doing a bad job. Which they obviously aren't.
