Question for Wesp5

Hi Wesp -- I'm enjoying one of your later version patches, and remembered a question I've had for awhile now.

In a later patch version, you restored a phone in one of the rooms in Dr. Grout's mansion. It's in a room you have to pick a lock to get into, fairly far along in the quest. Before there was just a chest with some ammo in it, but in a later patch version, there's a phone in there.

When I "look" at the phone, I see I can use the "e" key to activate it, and when I do, I hear a "click", but it doesn't seem like it really has any effect. Am I missing something?

Yes, this phone opens the secret door outside into the observation area. This was done to restore the "phone" icon and also because the secret doors were not secret in the original game which makes no sense and is also inconsistent to the way the secret doors at the Giovanni mansion are handled. After all that is what Inspection is intended for!

I have a couple of questions for you Wesp.

1. Is there a way to watch my character from the front in 3rd person mode? Like being able to pan the camera all the way around her.

2. I heard that when playing as a Malk, I should be able to have a conversation with the TV News guy and with Stop signs on the street, do I have to do something specific? Or is it completely random?

Yes, try out the numpad keys. They move the third person camera.

The TV is automatically triggered late in the story so just be sure to view it occasionally, the sign may be random...
