OOOO Dedicated servers and lobbies I like that. Also they are trying to remove spawn camping. That is the first time I heard a dev say that in a long time.

I've already read most of that thread, but have some rep for going out of your way to be helpful, and spreading the Brink love!
Hopefully this game rocks as much as I hope it does.

Tell you one thing, the PC requirements for just playing the game vs. the PC requirements for getting it to actually look like the screenshots...

it surely will rock, splashdamage games always do. although looking at their last game its not sure most ppl will like it. their last game, ET quake wars was fantastic, but very few ppl liked it as it was quite a bit rougher then the mainstream fps games.
it was basicaly a mix of quake style shooting with battlefield size maps, complex objectives and even more complex requirements to realy affect your teams performance.
most ppl quit relatively fast claiming that the game sucked, usualy with a kd ratio of 0.3 or lower ;). for cs players it was too fast and too large, for battlefield players it was way too fast and the shooting/dodging in full movement way too demanding, and for quake players the maps were too large and didnt come along with the usual layout.
if you took your time to adapt to the game though it was (and still is) one of the best shooters out there.
hopefully they will keep it a bit more compatible with average players this time or it will end with a tiny community again. no doubt though that it will be lots of fun again and if only for real fps freaks (well, lets pray they dont try the opposite approach this time).

FYI That compendium is out of date. The new version has added pictures and video and is located on FragWorld
HERE (http://www.fragworld.org/frag/community-blogs/brink-info-pt-1-story-gameplay-smart-classes-and-objectives.html)
They also have a Brink Group (http://www.fragworld.org/frag/fragbook/groups/viewgroup/15-Brink.html) you can join to get updates
Everyone knows HORSE and he keeps everything up to date and he is supposed to have some interviews with them soon.
