Hey I was just wondering, is it worth getting this game if you already have Rollercoaster Tycoon 3? Is this better than RCT3? Thanks.

havent played this yet but RCT3 is king. totally customizable and thrillville aint. better part of tv is you can walk around your park without having to use a 'cheat' code like jonny watts and talk to the peeps in the park. but you cant customize rides or the park as much

but if you alreayd have rct, its a different experience so giev it a shot

This game is so underrated. I bought this for my son thinking oh another theme park based game that will play like crap. Well no this game looks good, sounds good and is fun. Heck you have mini games to play in it. I got it for $9.99 or something at Walmart and I have to say it is worth much more than that.

Thrillville: Off the Rails is a 10/10 game

It honestly depends on what sort of gaming experience you're going for. If you want a game that is more realistic about theme park management, then RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 is the way to go. If you're more into mini-games, then Thrillville is the way to go.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 is more realistic in the coaster-building department and construction in general, whereas Thrillville virtually lets you do what you want, but you can't do much detail. So, it all depends on what gaming experience you want.

In Thrillville much of the work is done for you already, and you never have to worry about having enough money or spending a bunch of time flattening out land with editing tools. If you're a fan of the whole "tycoon" part of games like this where you can control every aspect of the park, you'll be disappointed.

It's aimed more at casual/younger players, but I enjoyed the game a lot more than I thought I would. As someone else mentioned, the mini-games (and there are a lot of them) are quite fun. I could never figure out how to do the stunts on the trampoline, though. ;)
