I really wish more companies started implementing Steam Cloud. This is another game that could benefit from it. It also has some new Microsoft DRM. Just Steam Cloud your game, and you won't need a 3rd party DRM.

Agree, maybe Valve charges too much for the system? Is not like Microsoft doens't charge for it's system anyway, what a shame, I would love to have steam cloud on this.
anyway not buying until a sale. Don't want to happens the same when I preordered SFIV and two weeks later it was 33%off, what a slape in my face, not again Capcom, not again. This time you won't get my money until 50% off or more ;)

Yup! I agree with you it's a bit expensive game, waiting for sale. :p At least could make some ~20 % off when pre-order it.

Wait, what? It's expensive? Here in Norway it lists for only 39.99 Euro, where as normal games sell for 49.99, or if it's called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 it costs 59.99 without anything extra.

There is absolutely no evidence to bad this up. I could make the claim, and be equally credible, that Valve is scared of GFWL so they are paying publishers to switch.

Both the use of Steamworks and GFWL are free. This is the cheapest I have ever seen a big name game.

The Mircosoft SSA and ZDPP is a protocol within GFWL. SSA means the keys will get tied to your Gamertag, eliminating activations, and ZDPP means you can't play the game before the street date. In addition to that, all the other GFWL features are there.

Ugh. You use Steam and you are complaining about requiring an account? It is no different than Steam requiring you to make an account to play games that use Steamworks.
Or you could just make an offline profile.

Oh... its the same price for me as well in euros dude. I didnt said that this game cost less than 39.99 euros.

Ohhhhhh, my mistake. I'm sorry. You don't have to sign up, but if you want multiplayer you do. Offline profiles let you play normally without the online features.

Because GFW is more effective in anti piracy when come to multiplayer
steam is often cracked
but this will just forcing people to pirate it

"Steam is often cracked." What exactly does that mean? SteamWorks' DRM has been cracked just like any other DRM out there. The difference between SteamWorks/Steam, GFWL, SecuROM, Ubisecure (or whatever the hell they call it) is that Steam uses enticements rather than punishments to battle piracy. With Steam you get an extensive online community, forums, friends, easy multiplayer, unlimited FAST downloads and more. I guess you can argue that GFWL has some of the same features, except it doesn't have the last one listed (which is my favourite feature of all the ones Steam has,) and it's a lot more convoluted and the PC division is under prioritised. I remember when I got GTA IV, clicking around on the XBox/Windows Live sites for 30 minutes before I finally figured out how I was supposed to get an account and link it to whichever stuff I had to link it to.
Furthermore, Steam is a lot more popular among PC users than GFWL ever was and ever will be.
