I understand why it's cheaper but people say that Capcom doesn't put dlc in for their PC versions of their games.
Is this true? What other of their past games do this?
Another question, what was the DLC for DR1 anyway?
Thanks in advance.

They never had paid DLC for DR1. I think there were a couple of free costumes in the marketplace.
I was hoping they were gonna bring Dead Rising 2: Case Zero to the PC, but it looks like it's only for XB :(

Don't forget that they don't want to make Super Street Fighter IV for the PC, or least haven't it done for now...

There was no dlc for PC RE5 true but don't forget the PC got an extra mode, not great but it's there. PC Lost Planet also got loads of free content updates. And there's a handful of dlc for SF IV available so it's not all doom and gloom from Capcom.
You also have to remember that Capcom always include loads of extras and unlockables and i expect DR2 to be the same.
It is a shame about Case Zero yes but it's certainly not going to keep me fom being anything but very excited for the release of DR2 :)

Yeah I think I still have some points left on my XBL account to get Case 0. Too bad the perks earned won't copy over to the PC version. :(

Eh.. For Dead Rising 1, they allowed you to place new suits to wear from retail xbox kiosks on to an xbox memory card.. which they eventually allowed people to download online..
UHM.. In the past they have released some DLC for PC versions but not as much as on consoles.. But they've also included game modes that are exclusive to PC versions.. IMO, it's too unpredictable to make any strong judgements about whether or not DLC will be included in the pc version.. We'll just have to wait and see!

Funny, as most people in this forum are highly annoyed that the PC isn't getting the Case: 0

Case Zero is more of a game than a DLC really.

Yea true, although game is a word i wouldn't use with it, an extended paid for demo would be more fitting :)
My point was that people do want the option of buying extra content related to this game. Infact check out pretty much anygame on PC that has not gotten the (paid for) DLC from the console versions and all you'll see is complaints. See Batman:AA, Burnout Paradise and Resident Evil 5 to name a few.

What about?I want in. I'm also interested what the PC community can and will do with DR2.

I can almost guarantee you there will be no mod, map-making or custom-content support whatsoever. Thus, I wouldn't get your hopes up and place value on the game based on the presence of an SDK.
