Playing Fm with steam offline...achievements

I was just wondering you cannot achive any achievements when you are playing steam offline and when you do connect it doesnt upgrade your acheivements but as I use my laptop and use it at work sometimes i am currently a blue square south team and I am currently leading them up through the leagues will it register when I get them to the prem as english hero??

A friend tried that, but it didn't reward him the achievement. He could have been unlucky, but who knows.
