Invite to Game feature

Has anyone else noticed that sometimes it's there, and sometimes it's just not present to select?

Can anyone explain why? I've already submitted a support ticket for it however I'm asking here as well in case someone might have some insight on it.

you mean in different games? some games are not supported.

If it's a game that should have the option, change your status (right-click your name in the Friends window) and the Invite option will appear.

only Steamworks games have that option.

And only a small portion of games on Steam use Steamworks.

I think he means the bug where it doesn't appear. Just set your status to away, then back to online, and it's guarenteed to appear.
