I am playing through the campaign and all but the game is crashing loading this map. It completely restarts my computer so I don't have any APPCRASH data at all.

Anyone have any advice or can help me?

Running:
Vista Ultimate 64
Athlon 64 Dual Core 3.0 GHz
4GB RAM
Radeon HD 4600 series

Can anyone help at all? I consistently crash loading Montebourg in the original Campaign. Is there any more information people may need to help me?

Copy and paste the contents of your warnings.txt file.
On Vista, you will find it in:

C:\Users\xxxxxxx\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes

Also search for a file called "errorlog.txt".
If you have one, post its contents too.

Nothing really points to any obvious problems in that log.

However, do you have a million programs running in the background? At game launch you have less than 1GB of free memory. "4093MB Physical Memory, 876 Physical Available, 3960 Virtual Available"

Also, are you forcing DX9 via commandline?
"RUN-OPTIONS -dx9"

The log just abruptly ends without logging the actual error. The mission you are crashing when loading is named m05_redball_express. Look here for further info that is specific to your particular issue:

I'll try this out. Do I put in that command in the "Load Launch Options" and is it with or without the quotations.

What command line? The -dx9?
I was only asking because it looks like it might already be enabled. Look at the top of your warnings.log.

That isn't what's causing the crash though; read that other thread.

It was the corrupting save issue. I had to delete the old save game it automatically created and then i could play the map. Then when it crashed on the other map i just had to play the previous one over and it plays straight through with no problem. it was a hassle but it works now.
